MOTD will not show up with invision

mIRC is installed without invision, MOTD shows up fine.
mIRC installed with invision, MOTD does not show up.

It says something about MOTD file not present.

What's wierd, is it never seems to be present when invision is installed.

What's more odd is that the network I use is the only one that seems to have an MOTD that won't show up on invision.

go ahead, try it out for yourself.
try it with, and without invision.

Maybe you could tell me whats wrong, or how to fix it.

Not sure why this is happening but i did as you suggested:
-I tried irc.aXpi.net with plain Jane mIRC 6.12 and connected fine with the MOTD from the server.

-I tried irc.aXpi.net with NWNK on mIRC 6.12 and connected fine with the MOTD from the server.

-I tried irc.aXpi.net with Invision(2520) on mIRC 6.03 and connected fine with the MOTD from the server.

-I tried irc.aXpi.net with Invision(3515) on mIRC 6.12 and connected fine with the MOTD from the server.

So, Invision doesn't seem to be an issue here. You may want to double-check your settings after the Invision has been installed. If you do figure out the issue please post the resolution so we may be enlightened.

You need to change your mIRC settings to view the motd.

Alt-O > IRC > Options > Skip MOTD on connect

Just uncheck that if you want to view the motd.
