Invision crashing

I had to move the location of my computer and upon restarting it Invision now crashes whenever I run it. It gives you that warning box that pops up but then shuts down before it says anything in the box. Prior to restarting it worked 100% fine, but new it crashes every time. I've reinstalled both Invision and mIRC with no luck. I really have no idea why, I've tried uninstalling Winamp and doing what it said in the Vista sticky, but it worked before.

What version of Invision and mIRC are you using? And are you positive that you removed Winamp when testing that? If you do have Winamp installed, there's a post that explains how to manually make that work. The next release should completely fix the Winamp issue.

The latest Invision release and mIRC 6.31 (or whatever the latest is).

With that being said however, I have tried it with mIRC 6.12. I have also tried the Winamp manually fix as well as completely reinstalling this. I have completely removed Invision/mIRC multiple times and tried a fresh reinstall with no imported settings or anything. This is so random though, all I did was restart and it started happening. Nothing else whatsoever had been done.

Thinking back to quite a while ago - when Vista first came out I remember having a crashing issue with Invision but I believe a reinstall fixed it. Besides that I've had no problems and this one popped up so randomly.

Try moving Invision's folder to the desktop just to see if it helps. Also try disabling (temporarily) and Antivirus or Anti-spyware software you have running.

Beyond that, try the full bundle of mIRC+Invision that's on the site and don't try updating mIRC to the latest version. Just see if it works.
