Postby Burtoner » Sun Mar 14, 2004 4:14 am

i have problem with invision, i use the nick colours (alt+v) for the channel modes, but some reason everytime i reconnect to the server, i lose the colours and have to manually putting it all back in. Is this a bug and is there a way round it?

Colors

First, if you set colors on one network, they are not set on all networks unless you had them set as global.

Second, are any other settings missing?
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

Global

Global settings are settings that are set while you are not connected to a network. Just start Invision and before connecting anywhere, set up any settings that you want to be the same on all networks.

NOTE: Any networks that you have already visited will not be affected by global settings just by doing this... it will only affect the new networks you visit. If you want to avoid that problem, go to your install_folder\Invision\Settings folder and remove all (or some) of the folders listed there. Note that any networks which you delete folders for will lose all their settings and will default to global settings until you make changes to them. So be careful deleting things unless you want to just set everything up again.
