Check your Invision -- Theme Manager and make sure you have a theme/scheme loaded .. and that it supports sounds.

Look in the left column (Settings) for a list of components for that theme and you should see - for example - DCC Outgoing Sound .. and when you single click on it, the event path is displayed on the right in File: ... if your current theme/scheme does not have a list of sounds (as well as all the other components), load a different theme (Invision may close & restart to load the new theme).

I did a clean install. Removed both mIRC and Invision and the directory and re-installed.

Well, when I re-installed the sounds DO play in Winamp. I tried to do what Dana said, but it seems like I am ok in that department?

Oh yeah what I mean is it looks like the Theme Manager is ok but the sounds do not play.

Yes! I just changed the startup sound by browsing to it, turns out its mp3 not wav. It works. I guess I will have to go through everyone of these and change them manually.

What I don't get it is how did all of this get mixed up in the first place. o_0

Thanks a lot guys. :)
