Whenever a Chanserv messages is shown in one channel, it gets posted to every channel. Is there a way to turn this off? It's very annoying for me, and I can't ignore it

Hi,
Whenever a Chanserv messages is shown in one channel, it gets posted to every channel. Is there a way to turn this off? It's very annoying for me, and I can't ignore it

file > tools > options > IRC
under the "Show in active" box
check "Notices", in which case it should show only in the focused window.
