masking nick

I've looked through the options and tried to read through this general help forun and I can't seem to find how to mask my nick. I was in the chanel and got a message from a server about a posible security risk. Can someone tell me how to mask the nick? Thanks in advance.

you can mask your Nick By a BNC or most networks have Vhost u can have or a mode you can set to mask it other then that u cant hide your mask ask your network help channel if they support that masking or try some shell providers for a BNC
