mIRC v6.12

A new version of mIRC has been released which fixes the DCC vulnerability of all 6.x versions of mIRC. It's recommended that everyone upgrade to v6.12 at this time.

This version (predictably) still has the ScriptGuard conflict with Invision v2.0 bld 2520. However, you can still use the Invision Fix I made to let you use this latest version of mIRC with your Invision. Get it at #andr-serve on irc.axpi.net.

Here's a tip on getting the ScriptGuard Fix. Go to http://www.ircspy.com/ and search for "scriptguard" (without the quotations) so you can see which xdcc bot has it that's currently online so you know which bot you can get it from. There's also peeps mirroring it on other channels so if our bots are queued up you can try them also. Please be sure to virus scan it before applying it.

For the n00bs among us, the command to download from the xdcc bots in the #andr-serve channel is:

/ctcp [botnick] xdcc send #[packnumber]

For example:
/ctcp PopWeasel xdcc send #15
