DCC

Postby DreamCatcher » Tue Aug 26, 2003 9:50 am

Im sure this question has been ask sometimes already, but somehow it stilll doesnt work for me.

I have a File Server configed correctly and I forwarded prot 59 and 9620-9625 and I set the DCC Ports correctly, but guess what it doesnt work. So there must be another port that mirc is using for the FServe. It always just displays *Ackknowleding chat request" or something like that and then the connection times out. Does someone know what to do? :?:

http://www.invision.virtuallysurreal.net/ go there and click router/firewall help, recheck ur settings. also the other client trying to access ur fserv must also have his script listening on port 59. put this in ur Motd: /dccserver +sc-f on 59 so they know to type that before tryin to axx ur fserver. Also make sure that if ur using Xp the builtin firewall is turned off.
