ok, first go to dcc, options, should have "on send request" to autoget and resume, with minimize option checked. then go to folder on left panel under dcc, and disable dcc ignore and uncheck "turn ignore back on" button. before u request make sure the person is able to send to others, check the xdcc/fserve sends. try dccallowing the person by rightclicking his nick, dcc, and grant temp permission or by typing /dccallow +nickname.

Yep, or go to DCC->Options->Folders , and set it to "Ignore all except" and add all the file extensions you will be getting (.tar , .rar , etc)

depending on the network you are connected to you may also have to do /dccallow +<nick>

invision has a setting to do this automatically for you....

invision > DCC manager > Setup

Check the "Enable Auto /dccallow (Dalnet)" box

Click Apply

Click OK
