System Info

Postby MeurglysIII » Mon Jul 21, 2003 8:37 am

Hello everyone. :)

My brand new Athlon XP 2800 Barton gets reported as Athlon XP 2200 in Invision's System Info display.

All system info tools that I'm using report the CPU correctly, and so does the BIOS and XP. So this is kinda odd.

Anyone knows where Invision gets its (wrong) info?

Not that it really matters, but how am I supposed to brag about my CPU upgrade in the channels? ;)

Kind regards,

Meurglys

There actually is a search function on this board.
I only wish more people could use it...

Thanks smartass. :P

Actually today is forum searching day for a few other issues with other boxes that I'm supposed to fix, so please forgive me that I've overlooked this one. Won't happen again. ;)

Thanks for wasting your time on me anyway.

Kind regards,

Hehe, no problem.
It's only that most of the questions asked here have already been answered at least once.
You kind of loose your spirit the n:th time you see the same question.
That's why so many questions goes un-answered by me.

Yep. Found the fix by using the search function of mIRC's Editor. :P

Thanks anyway.
