/whois when people join a channel?

Im sorry if this is covered anywhere else, i have looked and can not seem to find it. I am trying to get an auto /whois to perform when someone new joins the channels i am in, yet i cant seem to find an option in the invision settings, nor can i do it old school with an on 1:join command... Is there a way to do this built into the script? if not, can there be?
