Problems with DCC chat and Sent - Windows 7

I've used Invision on Windows XP and never had any problems with it at all... When I upgraded to Windows 7...it hasn't worked. I can receive files, but I can't send them. People can't open DCC chats with me, but I can open them with other servers... What's wrong with my computer or settings? PLease help. I've been trying to fix things for 9 days and I'm sure I've made my computer worse because of it.

That is a firewall or router problem. Make sure you don't have Windows Firewall enabled (or change settings in it to allow mIRC full access). Also, make sure that Windows Defender is not blocking mIRC. Beyond that, if you have a router, make sure you have forwarded the port(s) that you are using for DCC.
