fserve control pwd

when i try to start my fserve i get the following:
"enter the fserve control password
i have created a paaword of any kind, however when i put something in i get the following:
"Either the password is incorrect or remote control is currently disabled it"

i tried to disable and put a password it does'nt work, i get the same msg's

thx for the quick response, i think i didn't explain myself well. what i was trying to say is this:
i only want to start my fserve and when i click to start it i get this message: ' enter the fserve control password'. i treid creating a password in remote control and used that pwd to see if it will work i woul get the following msg: 'either the password is incorrect or remote control is disbled'.
i don't want to use remote control, i just need to start the fserve w/o using a pwd, but i am not being allowed by those msg's i am getting.

You're trying to start it wrong. You don't start it from the CTCP menu. That's how you start someone ELSE'S fserv using the Remote Control. To start your own, right click in a channel and choose Server Controls > Fserve > Start Now.
