I'de like to know the necessary code for my script do this:
-When a nickname with caps lock joins a certain channel, I automatticly send a message to the channel saying something like this: "<PersonNick>: Please remove the caps lock from your nick, it seems you are screaming in the channel. To do it, just type /nick <PersonNick (without caps lock)>. Thank you."
In the IRC network where i am, there are many users with the nick "MindUser<numbers>" and "eMuleIRC<numbers>".
I'de like to program my script to automatticly send a /me message to the channel when one of this users talk, saying something like this: "<nick>: You have three minutes to change your nick. To do it, just type /nick NewNick. Failure will result in a kick." If the user change the nick in three minutes, nothing will happen. If the user didn't change the nick in three minutes, I would auttomaticly kick him. And if he comes back again to the channel, i would ban him.
Do you know how can I do this??
If you don't, can you just give me a site where someone will know??
