i think the easiest way for a noob, is visit XDCC Search Engines
like (internet explorer works better for these seach tools)
http://www.ircspy.com
http://www.packetnews.com
http://www.xdccspy.com/
http://mircsearch.co.uk/

and do a search on there for the things you want
when the list comes up hover your mouse over the #1, #2 and so on, and click on one of them
this will then copy the code you need to the clipboard and mirc should open up and start a connection
when you see it connect to the channel you need to paste the code you got from the website to the channel
your download should then start or you probably have to wait in a que
thats about the easiest way for someone new i recon

we do not support the use of illegal files. we simply provide you with the tools needed on how to connect to irc and use the scripts. please do not post such items here.

Also if you realy want good help on how to use Invision then my web site is the best
