Turn off whatever script checkers or worm checkers or whatever Norton calls it. Those will cause you endless problems and really aren't very useful.
Or, my personal opinion ... DELETE everything Norton.

Norton gives people issues all the time. They never manage to keep the right files marked as "safe."
