fserve errors

hi i'm new to invision and i've been getting this error and i don't know what to do about them, i tried to search for 1 but it didn't come up so i thought i'd put both in the same post...

first one: ERROR > 421: Unknown command: NICKSERV
i get this one when i log into irc

second one: /msg: insufficient parameters (line 18, ialias2.mrc)
i get this errors as soon as i start up my file server (i've set it up using the tutorials and how to pages from this site)

is there a way to fix these errors? also my fserve is not showing up in the channels when i type !list, although if i advertise manually and try entering it it works... i have opened port 6060 from the xp firewall already so i don't know what else can be wrong please help thank you!

1) If the network doesn't support nickserv, you can't use the nickserv option.

2) Not sure without more information.

3) You can't check !list yourself. Only others can see your ad by typing !list.
