Today for the first time in almost a full year, as soon as I connect to EFnet, Invision dumps all of my settings
No reason at all. The only thing I can think of is inadvertantly connecting to a completely different network twice a while ago. But I haven't been on efnet for weeks, and the second I go on it, it does this

This brings me to another point, how much longer until an update. I've heard cRYOa saying a few times now "soon", but then a few months goes by without anything.
Not a complaint. I will happily continue with the current Invision, jumping over these bugs as they come to me.

Yes, if you connected to the same network twice, it will have caused a problem. Just because you've not been on efnet since then doesn't mean anything... the settings will have been messed up back then and you wouldn't notice until you connected there again.

As for new version, the website will give the the most up-to-date information available. Other than cRYOa, no one knows anything else than what the website says. Most likely either something came up that has prevented him working on it, or he ran into some major obstacle in the next version. It will be out as soon as he can get it out. Don't expect it soon... it hasn't been tested by the few people who check for problems before releasing it, so it won't be out really soon. That's not to say it'll be months yet... but just not within a couple weeks, probably. And, before anyone asks... no, asking won't get you the ability to test it before release, so don't bother.

working on a script this week end that we will submit to cryoa that will give you the option to connect to a network that you have already been connected to .... err something like that just back around sunday monday to see if its done
