Log Files contain double time stamp

I treid a search on this subject before posting this but came up blank...

while trying out a stats generator prog i discovered that all my logs have a double timestamp e.g

[5:49:am] [5:49:am]

i've looked around to see if i could find out whats causing this but so far cant see anything

Any suggestions as to what to look for please...

Disable timestamping in the logging section of mIRC options.

You have it set to timestamp all messages, and when it logs messages, it takes the timestamp with it.
Then mIRC adds another timestamp to that, which creates the double timestamp you see.
