New look for Invision 3515 Vers. 2.0

Hi .. im new here,

lately i've been working on a new look for invision
3515 vers 2.0 and i changed the default blue'ish color
incl the background to a metallic style and named the
new look INVISION 2.0 METALLIC version.



I had to use the default graphics, or better i had to
overwrite the default GUI in this way i keep my look
of INVISION 2.0 everytime i start it up.

Right now, i have some other tiny problem.
Eevrytime i change something inside the settings of
Invision, the program/script makes some file on my
C drive and name it Program. This causes a boot problem.

Doas anyone have also this problem and is there someone
who has a solution to it?

the name of the program or file is "program" ? never seen that before can u give more info on it like the size attributes etc etc

This would be caused by a script that was changed or another script that is being used. Default Invision shouldn't have this problem.

What is happening is that a script is trying to write a file in the c:\program files\ folder, but is not set up to handle spaces and is instead writing the file to c:\program and it thinks the filename is program since no other information is there (ie. it doesn't look after the space). Most likely you are running Invision from the program files directory. Move it to c:\mirc or something similar and you should not have a problem.

Btw, I like your graphics. Maybe cRYOa will accept something like that as a theme in the next version. I'm not sure if he accepts other people's work for themes or not.

I really like this theme
When I get done wiping my computer and reinstalling XP, I just may have to check this out.
Although I can't really help with your question, I do have one suggestion.

Is it possible to have the switchbar on the left side of the screen, the way I like it, but to include part of the background, so that it almost makes it look transparent. I'm sure I could do it myself, but I just don't have the time right now.
That would incredibly rule if you could make a version with those changes.

Also, I think this should be the default theme for Invision, especially for when cRYOa releases a new version. Just a thought.

Anyhow, to your question... Yes, you can add a background to the switchbar if you like (Invision's default theme does that). You just make it line up correctly and it'll look right. You can't, however, change the actual channel/msg/server "buttons" on the switchbar.

And, actually, I wasn't saying it should be default theme. Just that it maybe could be added as a choice in the theme manager.

Update on Theme's for Invision 2.0 3515

In the mean time i did'nt stop yet to building newer theme's.
And by using invision now for xdcc serv, i managed to find
a tiny bug, .. When u startup the xdcc server and you are on
another channel, the script of the xdcc server show's the packets
listing on other channels, but only the one who is the server of the
xdcc host.

This mean that only you who's serving the xdcc, not the others on other channels.
And you see only the 6 last lines.

You'll have to be more specific about the XDCC thing as I've heard nothing before about it not working.

it's when i'm on another channel and other server, that
i and only i see that xdcc list passing, not the others Riamus.

but 'it could be that it is only on kreynet, cause on other servers
or channels, i don't see that.
