Question?

Postby Guardian » Sun Oct 10, 2004 7:00 am

Hey wasup? I have a question. I use two different scripts because one is a clan bot. Can I set other script to act like Invision where when I double click a name , it will do as Invision does where it lets the other person know you are talking to them in the main window, and not open a pm window? I pm'd Riamus on this but I wasn't sure if it was sent. Sorry if I double posted. Thanks.

I think what you're referring to is the Dbl Clk Nick Respond. This sends the message to the user from your main window. A thing to note because it sounds like you don't realize this from your wording... the user getting the message will still get it in a separate window and not in the main window regardless what script you're using.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

That is it exactly, and no I didn't know it still pm'd them in a private window. Can I set up the other script like Invision default, where it will show me typing in the main window when I do this? Is there a command for doing this, if other scripts can't do it like Invision?

I'm not sure how it's set up right now... I'm tired and not gonna look... but, basically you just tell the script the "/msg nick" with your message and that's all. I'll see how Invision does it later.
