i found that the fserv explorer does not work with getting
the files and changing dirs.
it seems to work fine with most fserves but
with the UPP fserve it never does work.

also it would be nice if there was an option to turn
the fserve explorer off

press F6 to turn it on and off or Invision Main settings File Server Esxplorer towards the bottom. And what is the UPP fserv is that another script?

Unfortunately, UPP servers handle things very differently from regular fservs, so fserv explorer will not work for those.

If you can tell me where I can find one to examine, I *might* be able to give you a code fix/addition to make it work for UPP. But I've not actually seen them myself and have only heard of the differences, so I can't do anything until I see it for myself.

I think he wants the explorer so he can click on the items. Typing the commands in the explorer isn't much different than when not using it except the easier way to view the file list.

I'm working on an update to Fserve Explorer that will make it work with both UPP and TCLFileserver scripts. It's mostly complete.
