Half-Life Server Watch (Away/Back)

Postby Urd » Thu Jun 17, 2004 6:36 pm

Is there anyway to put some invision commands in the hlsw settings so that when i join a game, it runs the silent away script and when i come back it runs the silent back script, i dont want it to announce anything, but i want it to make me away and then back so my pager will run on and stuff.

There is probably a better way to do this, but you can always run halflife from within mirc (/run path\halflife.exe or whatever the exe name is). You can then us a "on 1:input:" line that will set you away silently. You could then use the same input line to set you silently back when you type a line (it won't set you back when you quit the game until you type something).

If you want to do something like this, I can write a short script for you to do it. But, as I said, there is probably a better way to do it. If you want me to do the script, please post the path/filename of halflife.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.
