kk not sure if this could or is a problem , but ill explain it ,and if anyones got any solutions , be appreciated
running mirc 6.14 , and invision 3515 , got my own custom play message , 0Mµs4ì0ç Is T4h0ê Mìrr4ø0r Tø ¥4ø0µr §4ø0µ|0
now each time i try running the mp3 player in invision , or seemingly so , mirc causes an error in a file on computer , and it all crashes on me , resulting in having to restart ..
never happened before and i been running invision forever ...
any help , or anyone with same problem ? is there a solution please ?

Can you paste what you have added to make that cusomt play message , also did this just start when you edited the display or have u recently added and scripts? Do you use winamp?

hate to sound daft ... i added it from main settings general tab , from the announcement part down bottom right , open the announcement to alter play msg , no brackets found , only ones i can see are the {} where it says decrypt key {min 5 char} ..the encrypt/decrpyt is set to on and its got crazycrypt in the box at the side of it ..auto decrypt .. yup thats the one with the {} in ..
so ive left it as it is , cos ive remade that many versions up trying to find out what the error is that i dunno whats best to do ...

in your custom message... try removing or replacing the third (3rd) character from the end of the string.. the "|" character. Probably some change is the script parser maybe parsing it differently.

while im here , i dont know if you guys will know anything that mayhelp , but i have a friend whosenetgear having some real difficulty with a router
netgear DG834 cabled one, not wireless..... tried the invision ports , 6060 listening , and set the others at 40 , as per mirc options , but still nothing , is there a set port or option to use to allow sends , do you know , as im clueless over a router

didnt werk ,crashed after 2 tracks ......
changed the play message entirely..setting no colors whatsoever ..

crappy i know , but it was what i was listening to at the time and just thought why not , ive used this font before in invision and custom mp3 messages .. just dont understand why now for some reason its playing up , .............

I would suggest trying to replace each letter one at a time and see when it starts working. I know that's a pain, but I really have no idea why it would be a problem if the | isn't the problem.

seems the entire things buggered , dont know why , or what , but i was noticing it was sticking badly, whilst typing , and opening minimizing windows, thinking it was RAM ... then maybe a conflict , but ive tried a few scripts togetheron the same drive , and the only one that has any difficulty is this version , causing the CPU to jump to 100% every few minutes for no reason , whilst running nothing else .
maybe just my bloody puter lol
not sure really , so im going to build another 3515 with 6.12 and see if that helps matters any thx for all your help ...

If it's jumping to 100% cpu often, you should look for trojans (or just reinstall to a new folder and don't import). Or, if you use any other scripts on top of Invision, they may also be the cause.
