Maybe you could make the Invision script a plugin for other cross-platform IRC clients, such as X-Chat, because I used to have Windows, and I had to leave Invision when I couldnt get it to work with WINE (an API layer for Linux) ....Something for consideration, maybe?

People have made mIRC work with WINE, so I know it can be done. You might want to look into it further.

As far as making it work with things other than mIRC, that would be VERY difficult because other clients don't have the same scripting ability. And even if they have a scripting ability, it's not the same one. Also, most things in the script are mIRC-specific... they change how mIRC functions... they wouldn't have any use in another client.
