I think it would be an Outstanding feature if we could skin the channels either individually or even at a minimum use the same image for every Chan

If you want another background, Just right click on the channel, in the channel bar. And use:
Background -> Select...
And go to the place where your wanted background is, and take it.

It should be all.

Yes, it would be nice if you can hide the nick list or select a different font for every channel window.
Ah, and also connect to more than one server at the same time.

All thos options are there

1. right click the Tab for the window u want to hide the nick list then select Nick List and auto Hide it

2. Also the Font for that is there as well u can set it for channels to be diffrent or set one for all channels

3. to connect to more then one server type /server -m newservername
