Auto-queue and fserve @/+ only (or password protect)

Postby qwertyu » Wed Nov 26, 2003 8:15 pm

1) Auto-queue
i know some irc script allow access the fserve once will keep the cache list per each fserve,so if got some send Failed, it will AUTO-RE-QUEUE the file again, and some time if the fserve queues FULL(example: 10/10),u just queue the file once in the FULL fserve and it will like use a timer(30mins) to keep access the fserve trying queue the file,
I hope Invision allow do that later :)

2) fserve @/+ only (or password protect)
the function just like [sysreset], i hope that can teach leecher to setup an fserve more more and more....

3) i got some problem with display the << and >> in my chinese Win2000Pro, all the trigger ads cant show correctly :(
example:
<@nick> File Server Online Triggers:look like a box!movies?Sends:look like a box1/2?Queues:look like a box20/20?Accessed:............etc

thx ...bro

I love this script and have been using it for 3 years now its really easy for a newbie to use. I have passed it on to friends, but would love to have the @/+ only feature. 8)

With regard to item #1. Most fservs do NOT appreciate people using scripts to requeue files and will ban you for doing so. I personally would ban anyone who tried that on mine. I do not believe that is a feature that Invision should implement.

For #2, yes... that is a useful feature.

For #3, even if you can't see the <<'s and >>'s, other people can. So unless you care about seeing those yourself, don't worry about it. If you want to see those characters, you just have to change your font to a font that has those characters. If you don't want to do that, then you would have to go through the entire script and change every occurence of those characters to something else.
