this has really been bugging me, just recently this person has the same color as me
I reset color and everything and i'm still not sure why this would happened as this is the default set up

Please look in your address book (Alt-B) and click on the Nick Colors tab. What do you show there? Also, what version of Invision are you using? There was an update at one point that fixed some issues with nick coloring.
