Triggered Sound FX problem

Under the Triggered Sound FX,

I am trying to set a sound to play when somene joins the channel.

I set up a new text to watch for *join*, then picked a sound file, then told it to trigger on "notice" - but it did not play the sound when someone joined.

Then I changed to to trigger on "action" - still no go.

Finally I set it to trigger on "text" and had someone type "join" and that did work.

I can't get any sounds to play for "notice" or "action" events. Action events only seem to work on MY actions and not other peoples actions. And the notice events dont seem to work at all.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask for help on the matter, but any help would be appreciated.

The general help forum would be more appropriate, but anyhow...

1) A join/part/quit is not a notice or an action. The SoundFX are not made for join/part/quit.
2) Make sure you have a * in the trigger somewhere.
