Minor Bug: exceed MAX_INTEGER?

Postby Alien » Sun Jun 22, 2003 10:51 am

When I tried to put a very big integer(for example, 9999999999) for "Ad Delay," the ad kept printing in channels.
I think it is too big and it is considered as a negative integer :?:

Why are you using such a big value ?
If you don't want the advert to run, you can simply check the "run with no advertisement" box.

I also remind you that the value is in seconds. So 31536000 represents 1 year!

well, I didn't see the option, "run without ads" before I tried it.
I think the value is in min not sec.
I don't remember how many 9s I put...but anyway, I think bugs should be fixed by the developer not *avioded* by users 8)

I don't know what Cryoa thinks about that, but personally I don't consider it as a bug but as a limitation of mirc.

But I agree that it's not difficult to check the values entered.
