It appears that invision is randomly deciding to "mode prefix" ppl eventhough I have "show mode prefix" DE-selected in my mIRC options. This appeared only after installing the 2520 patch (and the bug fixes). The randomness is mind boggling. In 1 particular chan, it shows the same person, on different lines of the same XDCC ad, with AND without the mode prefix.
To add to the confusion, I happen to also be multi-serving and the secondary net (2nd one i connected to) does not experience this "problem" (granted, i am only in 2 chans on that net compared to many on the "main" net). I've made sure "mode prefix" has been DE-selected while the status window for each net was highlighted (in case that setting is net-specific).
My quite limited troubleshooting knowledge is tapped - any suggestions?
