U will need to change two places

1. Invision > Main Settings ADV Tab change h:nntt to H:tt

2. Press ALT+O then go Down to IRC> Messages and change h:nntt to H:tt

The computer clock is what is used. Try changing your clock and then type //echo -a $time and you will see that your time changed in Invision. Change your time zone and it will also change in Invision.

Although Invision displays times in its own format, the time command that is used is a mIRC command and is not modified in *ANY* way by Invision. Therefore, if your clock really is not matching your $time, then it is mIRC that has the problem, not Invision.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

So. mirc is the culprit

Postby M_Yoda » Sat Feb 07, 2004 6:27 pm

I typed //echo -a $time and it showed 23:24 when windows clock is showing 00:24, so mirc is kinda lazy!

I think I know what mIRC is having trouble with. It's the Daylight Savings. Are you in a country that does not have Daylight Savings? mIRC could be set to observe Daylight Savings and that's why your time is back an hour. I don't know if this might be because you have the wrong time zone chosen in your clock (the right GMT-4, but not the right country), or if it is caused by something in mIRC itself.

:( windows is ok... ir in Chile [Santiago <--- South America !] use Daylight Savings, but i dont know was happend... the solution more easy are sum [ + ] at the H... but it can do =[...

Sorry my English

La forma mas facil de solucionarlo seria sumando a H uno [ 1 ] algo como H+1 cosa q se adapte solo pero eso no se puede hacer =[...

Mi ingles es muy basico =[

Something you can do

Postby Riamus » Sat Feb 07, 2004 8:18 pm

Here's something you can do...

Go to your Time Zone settings on your system clock and Uncheck "Adjust for Daylight Savings".

You will probably have to change your clock's time to the correct time, but once you do, it will match with the mIRC time.
