Hide Joins / quits broken?

Hey guys

is it possible that the "Events" settings are broken? I can't seem to hide the joins and quits no matter what i try.
It doesnt matter if you change it on a global level (through the irc options) or on a per-room level (Click on the chat window--> events). It has no effect and quits and joins are still beeing shown in the actual room. Setting it to "In status" doesn't do anything either.

Is there maybe a known solution or workaround for this?

Someone else noticed this as well. Do you know if this happens with vanilla mIRC as well, or just mIRC + Invision? I haven't really looked into it, so I don't have a solution or workaround yet.

Ok i did a clean install and it works for me now if i use the "Events" menu in the IRC options:

Tools->Options->IRC->Events..

It still doesnt work on a per-room level though (i didn't try that on vanilla irc)
