No advertisement

Hello. I have the box checked for running my fileserver with no advertisement, but it keeps advertising in channel. What am I doing wrong, or is there a fix for this? Thank you.

When you start your server (right click, server controls, file server), make sure you start it using Silent Start or else it disables the no ad setting. As long as you use silent start and never use start, it should remain silent.

Thank you sir!! I love invision, always have. Need a new opening audio file though, for invision three dot oh, or three dot two.

It there a way to turn off the invision advertisement period. the netowrk I'm on has a "no script promotion" policy.

Edit: Meh, it still shows even in stealth mode set in settings.

Make sure you're setting it on the correct network as the setting is network-based. With that set, Invision shouldn't appear anywhere. Note that mIRC's version info will still appear.
