xdcc server wants to default to advertising in all channels

I hvae searched the forum with the forum's search and google but I don't find any answer to this.

Everytime I start mirc with invision the xdcc server removes the channel I set to advertise in and defaults to advertise in all the channels I'm in. Tried a new installation in a different directory and have the same issue. When applying the settings for the xdcc advertising what file does it write to? If i know this I can manually add the channel I need and hopefully stop this behavior.

First, give it at least a minute after making changes before exiting Invision. That's most likely your issue. Another possible issue is that you have Invision set to use Global settings rather than per-network settings (Main Setting > ADV). Third, make sure you have Invision installed to a location without spaces (for example, not C:\Program Files\Invision\ or something like that. Fourth, make sure you have permission to write to that folder. Fifth, make sure you have the latest version of Invision. Other than that, you can go to the Settings folder and find the one(s) with XDCC in the label. Just be aware that changes made to those files may cause the rest of Invision to not work properly. You're better off finding out the actual cause of your problem.
