Auto Crash Problem?

Ok..Well, I installed Invision a few minutes ago. The second I open it, it gives me the days I have left free, but when I click it, the "Warning!" box pops up, which would probably be the import thing, but it doesn't load 'cause mIRC crashes right then. It never did this without invision. It gives me the whole "mIRC has stopped working" thing. I've tired uninstalling invision and re-installing it, and then installing the patch as well. None of it works.

First of all, which versions of mIRC and Invision are you using? Second, are you using Winamp? If so, there's a topic here for how to make it work with Winamp (though that shouldn't be an issue with a clean install of the latest version).

mIRC v6.31...the newest. The newest version posted on your downloads page of Invision, and no..I don't use winamp XD

Try doing the full install (Invision+mIRC) from this site (click the logo above the forum). See if that works.

i also am having the same problem with vista. i'm using the full bundle pack (November2007) off invision webpage. when i try to log on a server a popup comes up saying " mIRC has stopped working". All the permissions are set for users etc. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: I just installed basic mirc v6.31 from mirc homepage and it works fine. Seems as if the problem is with the invision script. Thanks again for any input.

If you use Winamp, read the Winamp thread for help. Also, make sure any routers/firewalls are set up correctly to use all of the ports you have enabled in Invision. You may have other ports enabled in Invision than what you have in the basic mIRC install, so that may be the problem. Beyond that, just install the Invision update, then copy the new mIRC.exe and mIRC.chm and (if you want), mIRC.ini files into the Invision folder.
