Proxy?

Hi

Im banned from an IRC channel because I just whent to ask this operator a question and he started getting angry at me for not asking to ask him a question when that was the first time I had ever been in the channel, I didnt know that. So an argument started and now im banned.

Is there anyway I can use a proxy in Invision 2.0 or anyway other ways to get past a ban?

If the channel is run that badly, then it's not worth being in. Find a better channel.

Its not my fault I was banned anyway, that guy was flaming me when it was my first time in that channeland I need to ask him a question for my freind

We can't make people run their channel any certain way. If they want to ban people for no reason, that is their choice. It's their channel to do with as they please. Unfortunately, many channels out there are run by people who act like that. It's best to just avoid such channels.

And, as a piece of advice, unless you know the ops in a channel don't mind, it's safer to avoid private messaging them. Just like in forums, admins/ops/moderators/etc usually often not to be private messaged without permission. This is especially true it really large channels.
