Simple Invision question.

Postby Avenger » Tue Apr 19, 2005 4:54 am

Hiya, have a relatively simple request, Everytime i join a channel and receive and Op, Invision says this: •Thanks for the @•
Now it doesn't bother me in the slightest, but for some reason the people i am gaming with have a huge problem with it, well i like the script, so here i am hoping someone can tell me how to turn it off. Thanks in advance :)

Personalization

Look in: Personalization > Responders. Turn them off or change them as needed.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

Hey thanks a bunch, they were really beggining to get on my nerves, can you believe they said they found it offensive that Invision thanks the Chanserv for the Op, and i quote: "It devaluates any thankyou you make your self" What a pack of morons. thanks again.

hmm, another problem, i found the menu you suggested, and i turned it off, it works fine if i just leave a chan and re-join it, but as soon as i disconnect and re-connect, Invision thanks the Chanserv again, the weird part is the box is still unselected and i even went as far as to delete the text, it Still thanks on entry..

Delay

Postby Riamus » Tue Apr 19, 2005 7:40 am

There is a delay in when it saves settings. Just set it and stay connected for awhile... it'll save the setting. It can save anywhere from 1-15 minutes. That's a temporary fix for a settings loss bug.
