Trouble connecting

Ever since I got sprint dsl I have been having trouble connecting to any servers. Now I get unable to resolve server, or * Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out). I am wondering if this is because my settings changed from cable to dsl. I just dont know I just know I can not connect to anything with mirc by it self or invision. Please help. Thanks
