As L|B said, you must disable your DCC Ignore settings or change them in order to receive files that are blocked.
Alt-O > DCC > Folders (for mirc 6.03 and under)
Alt-O > DCC > Ignore (for mirc 6.11 and 6.12)
You set this either to DISABLED or one of the ones listed below:
1) Ignore all except --- If selecting this, you must place the extension of the file types you want to receive. If you want to download an EXE, you place that in the list.
2) Ignore only --- If you select this one, you do the opposite. Make sure any file types you DON'T want ignored are NOT in the list. So you would remove EXE from the list.
Reminder: If you have the Checkbox on this page checked which says "Turn back on" and you select DISABLED, then you will have to reselect DISABLED every time it turns back on... or just uncheck that option.
Also, make sure you are set to "auto-get" or "show send dialog" in Alt-O > DCC. If that's set to ignore, you will not be able to download anything (which doesn't seem to be a problem for you).
Now, remember... as L|B said, it is unwise to auto-accept EXE files on a regular basis. So remember that when downloading.
I always recommend turning on "Isolate DCC Notices" from your DCC Manager (Invision menu > DCC Manager > Setup tab) on all networks so that when you download something, you will have a record of it you can easily check to make sure you weren't sent something you didn't ask for.
