It happens all the time since i installed a new mirc with invision version 2.0 build 3515, also i got a mcafee alert about a irc/flood and it appears to be in my system volume information folder used for system restore, i did also get alert when first installing it and thought it was just mcafee being pick so i removed all cleaned up pc turned off virus sw till i installed invision then turned virus sw back on but still get alert on this. Is it possible this is causing my problem.

Yes, that is very likely the cause. You have to turn off System Restore and then use McAfee to clean the virus. You can then turn System Restore back on.
