If you are on a LAN, you most likely have a Firewall, or at least a Router, between you and the outside that is being run by the LAN. Unless you can make changes to the LAN's Firewall or Router, you will have to set yourself up with Reverse DCC from the DCC Manager (Invision menu > DCC Manager > Setup tab > Check Global Reverse DCC and choose a port that you can DOWNLOAD from -- the default port usually is okay).
Note:
When using Reverse DCC, no one who has a Firewall or Router will be able to connect to you unless they are able to forward ports in their Firewall or Router. But it's better than nothing.
