As soon as a dcc file trasfer begins i am asked to set my client to recieve a file. I no longer remember how to do this as i did it once and the reformated my computer 1 year later. Is it just the person i'm downloading from or it is me. Your help would be greatly welcomed.

to set your client to recieve file go here and choose the best option for u http://www.ircmadeasy.com/setting_clien ... _files.htm after that u may need to /dccallow +nicksendingfile then try again if nothing from there u might need to configure your router or firewall then if that aint it its the person you are geting from.
