Please Help , Having 'beep' problem...

I used acidmax before I switch to invision and I am much happier with invision except for the fact that now it no longer beeps me when someone says my name in an irc channel..

I have tried EVERYTHING to make it beep me , even uninstalling both mirc and invision numerous times and reinstalling to different directories. I cannot make it work.. and being able to respond when people need me and say my name in a chat is very important to me.

Check Nick Alert in Invision -> Main Settings.
Also see if sound is enabled for nick alert events in Invision -> Sound Manager.
You will not get a nick alert if your nick is used in the active window.
