auto reply query

Dear invision,

Using Invision in stead of normal mIRC is great for me.
Thnx for making the program.

Whenever i am on irc people bug me with stupid questions to join their channel. I'd like to have an auto-reply to people who PM me stating that i don't idle and perform.

How can i do this with invision?
I searched the forum, but couldn't find it anywhere.

thnx in advance,

KlaaZ

Go to Invision Main Settings and click the Filtering and Nick Serv tab. You'll see a box to check by Spam Filter and an edit settings button. Add join and /join if they're not in there. And be sure to remove anything from the list you don't want filtered. It defaults to filter out websites, which I've removed as the only time I get "spammed" with sites is from someone who wants me to go look at something; they're not usually adverts.

Also, don't forget about /ignore and the shitlist function. If something slips past the spam filter that you don't want, just right-click the nick and select user lists then shitlist and then add. You'll be asked to supply a reason. I usually just write "No invites or adverts," but if they've really ticked you off for some reason, be creative ;)

thnx m8 for your quick reply .

i guess your explanation is about blocking certain words. invision replies with a standard msg.

The thing i mean is just a reply.

every time a person sends me a PM, i want to have an auto-reply that i'll read the message asap, but when it's about joining channels, they can go bug someone else :)

how can i fix this?

thnx, your help is much appriciated
