DCC sends fail .. my fault?

Postby Arjuna » Sat Mar 29, 2003 3:12 pm

Hi,

Another question.
I have noticed lately that almost all dcc sends failed. I am running on cable which is not the fastest but not the slowest connection either. Recently I have raised the sends to 2 at once could this be the reason? Or does it just happen and there is nothing I could do?
I'm using Invision 2.0, 2520.

Thanks for your help,
Gwion

This can be by many reasons

1rst. what is the limit of the min sends, i mean whats the slowest it can go....
dcc send per bandwitdh limit...
maybe the people u sending to dont ahve a fast conection and they are too slow.
2nd. maybe they have ignore on ....for most files especially .exe files
file > options >dcc >folders> ignore off
3rd tell them to uncheck this file >options >sounds uncheck send "nick file" as private message..

almost for got, some networks need to allow nicks to temp..dalnet
=i cant remember the allow command but u can find it somewhere.. sorry
most probs can be fixed this way..
