Ok fair points, i happened to post just after one of these annoying incidents.

Just for your info the /splay is deffo related to the settings as i only lose sounds exactly the same time i lose colours/settings. If i then shut invision and restart it i regain sounds, so installation etc is still exactly the same.

I have had or been through all of the troubles and settings, clean installs, restore previous settings blah blah blah and have yet to see anyone mention the fact that joining more than one server also 'causes a loss of settings...... I can't wait for the new release....

Joining more than one server does not cause a loss of settings. Joining the same network more than once will, and that's been said many times. Also, remember that your settings on each network are different and if you've not set them up on the new network, they'll follow your GLOBAL settings. Many people think they lost their settings because of that.
