querys maximize on open... i want em minimized :\

You might try right clicking on teh button for a pm(anyone) and then goto position and pick 'clear' and/or 'clear default'
sometime along the way you may have inadvertantly went to the same menu(for any window, didn't have to be a pm) and picked 'save all' while a pm was open, as in not minimized... That's bout the only thing i can figure

i did that... now when i do /query nick it opens up minimized too... i want it so that when ppl msg me it opens minimized but when i query someone else it opens maximized

Try selecting just clear, should set it to the way it was when you first installed
