Invalid Syntax Error

Postby DK » Sat Feb 14, 2004 4:22 pm

Whenever I click on certain links (maybe you know what I mean ;)), IE explorer opens up with an Invalid Syntax Error displayed at the top of the titlebar. I've tried using mIRC alone and got the same problem, what's wrong?

Probably are invalid

The links are probably invalid. Look at the link and see. Sometimes people put links that aren't spelled correctly, or are missing parts of them. You can easily see if the link is good or bad by copying it and pasting it into IE. If it still gives you an error, then you know it's the link that is bad. Just ask for a good link.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

Try to disable Visufix if it is enabled :)

I saw several "problems" with visufix for long lines: the color is not followed on the next line, links are "cut" with the line, if you resize de window, the text doesn't adapt, etc.

I'll do some tests to find a solution to this but I haven't got a lot of spare time :(
