localports and servernotices window

Postby Hebug » Sun Jan 11, 2004 10:46 pm

does anyone else have the localports and servernotices windows pop up everytime they start invision/mirc? i remember i managed to turn them off but after i upgraded to the new build i had to refind all my settings. does anyone know how to get rid of those windows? they're such a bother to manually close every time. thanks.

U can turn off the local ports in Invision Main settings Protection tab remove the check for Run port Check at Start up THe server notices is in Main settings Filtering Nickserv Tab remove the check for Isolate erver notices, Then to make sure they are not set in global type /server -n and in that staus window that pops up click in there to make it active then go to your Main settings you will noticce when you click on Invision it says glabal for the network your on and then remove those checks in the same place, next selct Invision Save all settings and close the new global window that should turn them off, you will have to redo that for each new network you connect too.

Believe this might be in Invision -- Main Settings - Protection tab .. Uncheck any of the Self Scans & Logging you dont want performed.
